In 2018, the world-famous Keukenhof flower gardens near Amsterdam opens from 22 March until 13 May.

The sight and scent of more then 7 million blossoming bulb flowers, in combination with a wide variety of plants and other flowers, such as chrysanthemums and roses, form a true feast for the senses. Although especially known for its tulips, the Keukenhof features many other spring bulbs, such as crocuses, hyacinths and daffodils. In addition, the park contains several pavillions with tropical flowers, such as orchids, wooded areas and different style gardens, such as a Japanese garden, a historical garden and an English landscape garden, spreading over 32 hectares in total. Our guide walks you through the park, showing you the highlights, and gives you background information about the Dutch bulb flower industry and its history.

For a half day tour, we visit some of the famous Dutch tulip fields before entering the Keukenhof. These are at their best during the last two weeks of April and the first two weeks of May.
